The Department of Business & Administration in the Faculty of Business & Economics at The University of Winnipeg invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in one or more of the following disciplines: Operations Management/Innovation Management, International Business, Marketing, and Ethics. Expected start date is July 1, 2018 subject to budgetary approval. Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Candidates require a PhD (completed or near completion). Selection will be based on potential and/or demonstrated strength in research, teaching, and service. The selected candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an independent, externally fundable research program. Teaching responsibilities may include online course development and delivery. Person-culture fit within the Department is important. We seek individuals committed to meaningful contribution to Departmental governance, respectful collaboration within and across the University, and constructive problem-solving.

The Business and Administration Department (uwinnipeg.ca/business) is among the largest in the University. It offers both a 3-year and 4-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree based on an innovative interdisciplinary approach to business education emphasizing social and ethical responsibility. The 4-year BBA provides concentration options, and developing an Operations/Innovations Management concentration is a goal over the next few years. A master's program in technology and innovation management with in-person and online course formats is slated to launch in August 2017.
