CBC Research Documentary: "True North" Business Plan ["pro bono"] At CBC's request, compiled research information on the City of Winnipeg and the True North Project, a proposed new multi-purpose sports, entertainment and arts complex in downtown Winnipeg. The project included analyses on attendance at the Winnipeg Arena compared to the proposed new arena, "elasticity of demand", future demographics of Winnipeg and Manitoba, expenditures in sport and concert events, facility metrics, the economy of Winnipeg and Manitoba and a sensitivity analysis of the financial investment. A television interview with other financial experts was aired by CBC television in Winnipeg in June 2002.

TESTIMONY: Qualified to give testimony on more than 150 occasions in Alberta, NWT, Nunavut and Yukon

Brown, C. L. (2001-2003) The Brown Economic Damages NetLetter was launched on November 23, 2001 by Quicklaw (now subsumed into LexisNexis) and published until July 30, 2003 and encompassed 56 editions. The online NetLetter highlighted the court's decision on quantum and discussed the impact of forensic economic evidence (if called) or alternatively the judge's decisions on quantum without the benefit of expert economic evidence. Each edition reviewed 2 to 4 published cases by Quicklaw.

SCHOLARSHIPS/DONATIONS

Ringette Canada ? 2002 to 2021 (ongoing). Brown Economic Consulting donates $3,000 per annum to fund two scholarships under the auspices of the "Cara Brown Ringette Scholarship". The scholarships fund ringette players who play at the most competitive level of ringette available in their province or territory, and concurrently maintain a minimum `B' average at university. Project Warmth Society of Alberta ? Brown Economic Consulting donates $1,000-$1,500 per annum in support of the society's mandate to raise funds assisting homeless and underprivileged individuals. As part of this program, underprivileged students are given the opportunity to experience the performing arts by attending a special presentation of Theatre Calgary's "A Christmas Carol".
