Stevan Pullins has both managed and directed archaeological projects in West Virginia, Virginia, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and North Carolina. His experience includes supervisory and directorial roles associated with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, archaeological surveys, National Register evaluations, and major data recovery excavations at both prehistoric and historic archaeological sites. He has authored over 100 technical reports for clients that include local, state, and federal governments, as well as private individuals and developers. Project locales have included public utilities, highways, wind farms, historic properties, military bases, housing developments, manufacturing facilities, natural gas pipelines, wetland mitigations, and national parks. His interests include all aspects of prehistoric settlement, especially in the Appalachian region of the eastern United States.

Mr. Pullins currently serves as the Director of Operations for the West Virginia office of Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. His duties include operations management, preparation of proposals and budgets, material and data analysis, report writing and oversight, and management of multi-disciplinary teams for all types of archaeological endeavors, including survey, evaluation, and data recovery mitigations.
