VISITING ANFIELD GUIDE

GETTING TO AND FROM THE GROUND:

Liverpool FC, Merseytravel and local transport operators have been working together to help make matchday travel more convenient for you, public transport is the easiest and most efficient way to reach the game.

BY BUS:

On a matchday the 917 will depart from St Johns Lane, opposite Lime Street Station and will be ready to depart from Walton Breck Road post match. Discounted fares are available for fans travelling in groups. Tickets are available to purchase from a kiosk in Paisley Square on a matchday.

From Liverpool City Centre, take the 26 or 27 from Liverpool ONE bus station or 17 from Queen Square Bus Station directly to the ground. The 68/168, which operates between Bootle and Aigburth, and the 14 and 19 (from Queen Square) stop a short walk away from the ground.

The 501 football service is also available and operates direct to Lime Street Station (Skelhorne Street) from Walton Breck Road for up to two hours after the final whistle on the second and subsequent trips, the bus picks up at the church opposite the Kop. Adult fares are ?2, Children ?1.

BY TRAIN:

Lime Street Railway Station is two miles from Anfield. You can take a taxi from Lime Street (fares usually cost between ?7- ?9) or buses go from nearby Queen Square Bus Station. On matchdays you can use the Merseyrail network to link with the Soccerbus service from Sandhills Station.

BY BIKE:

The Cycle Hub is a FREE service that allows fans who cycle to the game to drop-off and park their bike safely and securely with an attendant. The Cycle Hub is situated in Stanley Park Car Park, a few minutes' walk from the Anfield Road end of the Stadium on a matchday. On a non matchday, there is a bike rack situated on Anfield Road.

Why not combine the train and cycling? Merseyrail allows cycles. Get the train to nearby Sandhills and Kirkdale Stations and take advantage of the LFC Cycle Hub.

BY TAXI:

On a matchday taxi pick up points are located on Sleepers Hill and Oakfield Road during the game. Post match and on a non matchday taxis are available outside the Kop. Taxis from the city centre to Anfield usually cost between ?7-?9.

Taxi One operates a taxibus service from St Johns Lane, Liverpool city centre direct to Anfield. A frequent service operates from 3 hours prior to kick off. Taxi One return service will operate from the corner of Anfield Rd/Sleepers Hill opposite the Isla Gladstone conservatory back to the city centre

Visiting Supporters: If you have any questions regarding your match tickets ahead of your visit, please speak to your Club. On the day of the game, should you have any queries, please visit our Ticket Office.

ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES:

Please note there is a low counter at the Ticket Office window which is fitted with a hearing loop.

LOW COUNTERS:

We have low counters available in kiosks across the ground which offer menus in alternative formats.

TOILETS:

Accessible toilets are located within each stand. Changing places toilets are located in the KOP and Main Stand.

HEARING LOOPS:

Hearing loops are fitted at the ticket office, the retail store and at selected low counter catering kiosks across the ground.

AUDIO HEADSETS:

Visually impaired supporters are able to order a headset in advance of the game from the disability supporters team. Should you require a headset on the day, please see your nearest steward.

LIFTS:

We have a number of lifts available in the Kop, Main and Kenny Dalglish stand. Passes for lifts in the Kop and Kenny Dalglish stand are available by calling +44 151 264 2500 in advance of the game.

THINGS TO DO IN AND AROUND THE GROUND:

FAN ZONES:

Liverpool FC's Fan Zones are open four hours before kick-off on a matchday. The Fan Zones provide live entertainment, food & drink and retail offerings. LFC would encourage all supporters attending home matches to visit our award winning and unique Fan Zones which have been designed with the fan in mind. The zones are a place for friends and families to meet before the match and, with a wide varieties of activities and entertainment, there is something for everyone.

FOOD & DRINK:

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS:

If you have any specific dietary requirements, please check with a member of our staff and they will be happy to advise you on the best location for you to purchase food. Halal food is offered in the Family Park on Anfield Road and in all hospitality areas.

KIOSKS:

Anfield offers an array of meal deals, burgers, hot dogs and pies in Kiosks throughout the ground. Why not treat yourself at one of our `Boot Room Sports Cafe' Kiosks which specialise in gourmet matchday meals? You can visit the Gourmet Kiosk before entering the ground located Kop side in-between the Tour Centre and Ticket Office. Street food kiosks are available on a matchday and are located in the Fan Zone in Paisley Square. Alternative food kiosks are offered in our Family Park on Anfield Road.

LOCAL PUBS:

There are many local pubs around the area.The Arkles Pub (located just next to Anfield Road) and the Sandon (located on Walton Breck Road) welcome home and away supporters.

STADIUM SERVICES:

TOILETS:

Toilets are located throughout the stadium and Fan Zones on a matchday. Baby changing facilities are available in the toilets near the Boot Room Sports Cafe and the Liverpool FC Story entrances.

CASH POINT:

There are no cash points available in the ground however, there is a cash point located on Walton Breck Road. Supporters can pay via card throughout the stadium with contactless payment also in place at all kiosks.

WIFI:

Wi-Fi is available in the concourse only. Fans will need to connect to `Fan Wi-Fi' and register for the free service.

FAITH ROOM:

A faith room is accessible from the Main Stand public realm and located next to the hospitality ticket collection booth. The faith room will be available from 5 hours before a match and for 30 mins after a match. At other times, the room will be available during normal Anfield business hours.

Tours of our historic Stadium are available throughout the year, both on a matchday and on a non-matchday. For more information visit tours If you are visiting the Club Store or the Museum and Tour Centre on a non matchday, you can park in Stanley Park car park which is located on the corner of Utting Avenue and Priory Road, use postcode L4 2SL.

RETAIL STORE:

Bring home a souvenir of your trip to Anfield. The store is located in Paisley Square and offers contactless payment.

BOOT ROOM SPORTS CAFE:

The Boot Room Sports Cafe at Anfield is open 7 days a week, offering freshly prepared food including favourites such as steaks, grills, pizzas, burgers, salads and pasta dishes all served in a unique and family friendly environment. HILLSBOROUGH MEMORIAL:

We have given great consideration to the Hillsborough Memorial, working with the families to create a fitting location and setting within the design of the expanded Main Stand and surrounding public area

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES:

We have various photo opportunity points around the Stadium for fans to use both on a matchday and non-matchday. Get a photo in front of one of these special photo opportunities to help you capture a lasting memory of your day at Anfield.

ANFIELD FOREVER:

Forever

Anfield Forever is a unique landscaped area which forms part of the walkway along 96 Avenue at Anfield Stadium. The area is a celebration of the club, its players, managers and global supporters, formed of specially-engraved granite stones featuring fan messages and dedications.
