Dear Parents,

The Park PTA Board welcomes you to Park School for another memorable year of programs, events, and Park School pride.

If you're not already familiar with the many important programs and services provided by the Park PTA, please read "About the PTA," on the next page.

As we head into a new year, we would like to remind you of the importance of your volunteer hours and financial support of the PTA.

Every year, the PTA provides funding for school events, teacher supplies, professional development, educaGonal programs, library books, and site improvements.

To maintain our support of these vital programs, we ask each family to make an annual tax--deduc;ble dona;on to the PTA ---- this year's suggested dona;on is $300 per child enrolled.

Every donaGon makes a difference and we are aiming for 100% parGcipaGon by our families this year.

Please see the "PTA Packet Checklist" for details about how to donate, sign up for programs, and get involved in the PTA.

Go online or return the enclosed "Sign Up and Dona;on Form" by Friday, September 13.

In addiGon to our annual back--to--school fundraising, we're excited to announce that we'll be hosGng our biennial Technology Fundraiser this year.

This adults--only evening event will raise funds for essenGal classroom technology purchases over the next two years.

Our teachers and students are enGrely dependent on this PTA fundraiser to keep our laptop computers, iPads, projectors, and classroom soQware current.

So mark your calendar for Park School of Rock on Friday, November 15 ---- see the enclosed flyer for more info on this fantasGc night!

? Use the enclosed Sign Up Form or visit to:

? Donate to the PTA: Your $300 donation per student is critical to the continuation of our many vital programs and services at Park. Any donation amount is appreciated.

? Double Your Donation with Corporate Matching: Check if your employer offers a gift matching program. Your contribution to the PTA could be doubled! Check the enclosed Corporate Matching Program list for some local companies that offer these programs.

? Sign up for a Yearbook: The Park yearbook will be full of memories of the 2013-14 school year. Order now, as the price goes up for late orders and supplies are limited.

? Sign up for Birthday Book Club: On their birthday, members pick a book to donate to the Library. The student's name will be written in the book. Support our Library!

? Sign up for PTA Membership: Only PTA members can vote on PTA matters.

? Order Park Spirit Wear: Buy Park School gear and be ready for Spirit Wear Fridays!

? Save time by choosing a PTA Bundle: With one click at our online store you'll make your annual donation, become a PTA member, and sign up for a Yearbook and Birthday Book Club. One Student or Two Student PTA Bundles are available.
